In the beginning of October 2018 the trainings of students from 6th to 12th grade for self-rescue and first-aid actions, under the project “Centers for increasing the population’s preparedness for reacting in floods” have started. Schools from the whole country are interested in joining the project. The lecturers in the trainings are specialists from the Bulgarian Red Cross, which is part of the consortium "Dicon - BRC" - a public procurement contractor. The trainings for self-rescue and first-aid actions will continue in 2019, and schools are still able to submit applications if interested.
Project "Centers for increasing the population's preparedness for reacting in floods" is carried out with the financial support of Operational Program "Environment 2014-2020" co-funded by EU through European Regional Development Fund and the Cohesion Fund.
