In May 2017, Dicon Group Ltd. began the implementation of a contract upon the project named: „Technical Assistance for revision and completion of the Feasibility Study on improving the navigation conditions on the joint Romanian-Bulgarian Danube and Complementary Studies” as a subcontractor to Halcrow Romania SRL. The completion term of the contract is April 2019.
The main objective of the project is ensuring the entire process of obtaining the Natura 2000 Endorsements and the EIA Permit for the Project. To achieve these objectives, Dicon Group provides Bulgarian team of experts to perform Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Appropriate Assessments (AA) in Bulgaria with the subject matter and objectives of conservation of the protected areas in Bulgaria. The main tasks to be performed by Dicon Group Ltd. are related to participation in the development / revision of the EIA chapter on Biodiversity and the development / revision of the AA.
In October 2017, the team of the Bulgarian experts will conduct a field study trip in the Natura 2000 protected areas in Bulgaria with reference to the subject matter and the objectives of the project.
