On 19 January 2015, in the MOEW in Sofia, a sitting of the Supreme Environmental Expert Council (SEEC) was held for the adoption of the Environmental Impact Assessment on the investment proposal for Construction of a New Nuclear Unit of the Latest Generation at Kozloduy NPP Site. On 27 January 2015, the SEEC rendered a positive decision.
