On 4 March 2014, the trainings began in the CDFSCP-Moi Training centre in Montana as part of the implementation of the project for “Increasing the capacity of the executive authorities and fire safety and civil protection bodies for management, coordination and control in cases of disasters, fires and emergencies on the territory of Bulgaria” under contract CA12-22-3/29.05.2013 with Contracting Authority - the Chief Directorate Fire Safety and Civil Protection at the Ministry of Interior (CDFSCP-MoI). The main purpose of the trainings is to build capacity in the fire safety and civil protection bodies - the first to react and respond with operational and rescue actions, as well with efforts for recovering from the effects of natural disasters, fires and emergencies. The trainings are targeted at the operational staff of the CDFSCP and will be carried out until the beginning of October 2014.
