A 5-day training visit was held for employees of the CDFSCP-MoI between January 19th and 24th, 2014, in the Danish Emergency Management Agency’s (DEMA) Staff College in the town of Snekkersten, Denmark. The visit was carried in order to exchange experience and good practices within the project for “Organizing and conducting of training visit in a European Union member-state and four training courses in Bulgaria” financed through Operational Programme “Administrative Capacity”, with regards to “Increasing the capacity of the executive authorities and fire safety and civil protection bodies for management, coordination and control in cases of disasters, fires and emergencies on the territory of Bulgaria” under contract CA12-22-3/29.05.2013 with Contracting Authority - the Chief Directorate Fire Safety and Civil Protection at the Ministry of Interior. The main topics covered in the course of the training were related to the management, coordination and control in times of crises, introduction to simulation software and an online training platform.
