On 6 January 2014, the contract for implementation of the contract for organizing and conducting a training visit in a EU member-state and four training courses in Bulgaria, financed under Operational Programme “Administrative Capacity”, was signed between the Chief Directorate Fire Safety and Civil Protection at the Ministry of Interior (CDFSCP-MoI) and Consortium “Dicon - DEMA”.
Consortium “Dicon - DEMА” comprises Bulgarian company Dicon Group Ltd and the Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA).
The main purpose of the project is to contribute to the strengthening of the capacity of the executive authorities and the fire safety and civil protection bodies for management, coordination and control in cases of disasters, fires and emergencies on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The project will engage experienced Bulgarian and international specialists, with part of the trainings being held in the Kingdom of Denmark, in cooperation with the Danish Emergency Management Agency.
The target group of the project includes more than 4,000 employees of the central, regional and municipal administrations with functions in the field of management, coordination and control in conducting operational activities for coping with natural disasters, fires and emergencies.
